PTO Buyout: Please remember to submit your PTO buyout forms to HR by the end of December. There are multiple rules for this process including minimum amounts and specific dates for payouts. Consult L167 Contract Article 15 or your HR Rep for questions.
Holiday Meals: Local 167 and AHEMS Management are once again teaming up to provide crews working Christmas Day with meals. They will marked with crew names and numbers. Please take only your own.
Upcoming Executive Board Elections: Nominations are now open for the election of officers for NAGE/IAEP Local R7-167. All nominations must be made on the Nomination/Acceptance Form and must be submitted to Secretary Amanda Groshens. They can be mailed to the local P.O. Box, emailed or interoffice mailed to Amanda Groshens at the Mounds View Base. Nomination/Acceptance Forms must be received on or before January 15, 2016.
Ballots for the election of officers will be mailed to all members on or before February 10, 2016 and will be counted at the General membership meeting February 25, 2016.
The Local Executive Board offices that are up for elections are Vice President, Secretary, District Vice-President Metro Paramedic, District Vice-President Cambridge and District Vice-President New Ulm/Hutchinson/Glencoe. All positions are three years terms.
All candidates must be members in good standing for one (1) year. A person nominated for more than one position must select the office of his or her choice; no person may run for more than one office.
- Self nominations are considered accepted upon the Election Officer’s receipt of the Nomination/Acceptance Form on or before January 15, 2016.
- All nominations must be seconded by a union member prior to submission.
