See below for a letter from Allina Labor & Employee Relations to President Hopper.
Dear Brett:
Last week we identified and resolved a system issue that impacted any employee who had a combination of overtime and retroactive pay transactions since January 1, 2023. The issue resulted in overpayments to employees in the first three pay periods of 2023 if the pay period had the combination of overtime and retroactive pay transactions. This has been fixed and there is no action required on the part of our employees.
In order to correct the error and prevent future issues, employees will see an additional pay slip dated February 24, 2023 in Workday. It will appear in the employees’ Workday pay panel in addition to the standard pay slip they receive on March 3, 2023. The additional February 24 pay slip will be used to reset employee records in the Workday system will show zero dollars of pay.
Additionally, on a one-time, non-precedent setting basis, Allina Health will not collect overpayments that resulted from this issue.
