IAEP Local 167 Members,
We received the 2020 contract arbitration award this afternoon. The arbitrator listened to both sides and rendered her decision. Unfortunately, the arbitrator sided with the company and chose their argument over the union’s argument. This means that the 2021-2023 contract will go into effect soon. The arbitrator awarded the loss of our PTO from 480 down to 350 hours during the life of the contract. We will be getting a 1% raise for 2022 and a 2% raise in 2023.
