It bid time again! We will be starting the bid Tuesday, January 20, 2026 and will be completed Friday, February 27, 2026. The Spring Summer 2026 bid will start April 4, 2026 and ends October 2, 2026. Employee bid times, bid rules and Spring Summer schedules are attached and will also be posted on the union website via a Google Drive link.
I will be completing the bid from Mounds View. There are no drastic changes to the bid rules.
Please check your bid time and date and let us know as soon as possible if you foresee any issues with your bid time. Remember that we cannot pass you if you are working for Allina and on a call. Please also check to see that your FTE is listed correctly. This is the FTE that is currently for every employee in WorkDay. If you need to change your FTE from what is listed, please contact your direct report prior to your bid time. It is easier to work out issues before hand then at the time of your bid. Please do not assume that it will get fixed. What is listed is the information that I have and if it needs to be different, please let me know to ensure that your bid goes smoothly. **Anyone that had moved from one job class to another will be getting a seniority award email from me. Please make sure that the information looks correct and contact me if you have any questions.**
If you need to reduce your FTE, you must do so before you bid. We are not able to reduce FTEs at the time of bid and will not hold the bid for your FTE reduction to be approved.
We will text you when it is your time to bid. We will use the cell number listed in Aladtec. Please make sure this information is up to date or let us know the day you bid if there is a better way to contact you. Please call us if you are working and let us know. Remember that dispatch does not need to send you back to base to bid.
Schedules bid each day will be entered into Aladtec by the time we leave the office for the night. Please make sure to check that your bidded schedule and PTO was entered correctly. Please contact us as soon as possible if there are any errors or concerns. The master schedule is considered the schedule entered into Aladtec. All requests for round 2 PTO will be done through Aladtec.
For all those new to bidding, here is a quick run down. We will text you when it is your time to bid. Please call us to inform us that you know your bid time has started. You have 40 minutes to complete your shift bid. We will email you the most current schedules to either your Allina email or to another email address that you supply us with. Take your time and figure out your shifts and then call us back to make your selections. You will have additional time to figure out your round 1 PTO. Once you have given us both your shifts selections and your PTO, your bid conformation will be emailed to you. Please make sure the bid confirmation is accurate. Call us back if you find an error. After every day of bidding, an updated schedule will be emailed out and all schedules will be entered into Aladtec.
